1) WASH your hands thoroughly prior to cleaning, or touching on or near your piercing for any reason.
2) Never pick off the crusties on your piercing.
3) While showering, lather up a small drop of the soap to clean the jewelry and the piercing. Leave the soap on the piercing no more than thirty seconds, then rinse thoroughly to remove all of the soap from the piercing.
4) DRY with gauze or tissues, because cloth towels can harbor bacteria and catch on new piercings causing injury. Pat gently to avoid trauma.
Day 1-3: Wash the tattoo gently with antibacterial soap without scubbing. Pat dry and then apply a thin layer of A&D.
After the first few days, discontinue use of the A&D and use Lubriderm or Cocoa Butter lotion 6-10 times daily.
DO NOT expose to direct sunlight for one month
